CLW is a key ministry of the LYV which allows many young people to experience a relationship with God, bringing them closer to the church family, and inspiring the future leaders and workers of the church.
The purpose of CLW is to provide an experience of Christian community within a safe environment in which young people can:
- be themselves
- explore faith and life issues and
- discover what living a Christian life really means.
These will be fostered by building relationships with God and other young people through fellowship and fun activities.
CLW is run twice a year primarily at the Tandara Lutheran Camp in Halls Gap, the heart of the Grampians. In past years additional CLW camps have been run at a variety of locations and at additional times throughout the year.
